Klaus was born in Germany and moved to Lethbridge at an early age. He has been a member of the Lethbridge business community all his life, focusing on the real estate profession since 1999. He attended the University of Lethbridge, enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program, majoring in physical education.

Klaus is co-owner of Top 5 Real Estate Lethbridge, and is a licensed Broker. Currently, Klaus is a director on the Lethbridge Real Estate Board.

As a community minded Citizen, he is an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church having served many years on Church Council and also maintains his membership in the German Canadian Club. He is actively involved in coaching several levels of soccer and is presently a board member of the Lethbridge Charger Soccer Club. When Klaus is not with his clients you will find him enjoying golfing, coaching, water sports and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
