Bev LeBlanc

I am a long-time resident of Lethbridge, having been born, raised, and married, and then raising my own children in this ‘not-so-small-anymore’ southern Alberta city. As my children (Leana, Steven, and Jaclyn) were growing and attending school, teaching seemed to be the perfect profession, so I entered the University of Lethbridge as a mature student. I graduated with a combined degree in Education and Political Science, immediately discovering that another bundle of joy was on its way. Now that bundle of joy (Jeffrey) is almost grown and I am excited to once again embark on a new career path, this time with Top 5 Real Estate.

Serving and preserving our community is extremely important to me. I have had the privilege of working on numerous city committees, most recently the Galt Gardens Revitalization Project. As well, I am a board member of the Friends’ of the Lethbridge Regional Hospital and I have belonged to the Eyeopener Toastmasters Club for the past ten years. Our mission is to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. My most proud accomplishment with our Eyeopener club is having received their vote as “Toastmaster of the Year” for three consecutive years.

My husband, Chuck, and I met in 1997 and were married in 1998 on July 4. Since he is from the United States, the date ensured that he would never forget the occasion and every year we would have dazzling fireworks to celebrate our anniversary. Both of us are avid baseball fans, hoping one day to have seen a ballgame at every major league baseball park. We also enjoy golf and equestrian activities, although time does not often permit our indulgence in them.

I know how significant, sometimes even stressful, buying or selling your home can be whether it is the first time or the tenth time.
